Soundproof doors

Soundproof doors

The doors can be supplied as soundproof (impermeable to air) in the SOLO doorframe (the air impermeability value for doors in a steel frame is reduced by 2 dB). Soundproof doors create a feeling of privacy, they reduce the penetration of noise through the doors (the noise emitted by a fridge: 40 dB, a dishwasher: 42 dB, whispering: 20 dB, filling a bath with water: 80 dB).

The soundproof doors are always supplied as fully panelled doors:
27 dB – the door panel is paper honeycomb, the doors have a fixed sill
33 dB – the door panel is perforated DTD, the doors have a fixed sill
32 dB – the door panel is a LINEX panel, the doors have an extending sill
35 dB – the door panel is a LINEX panel, the door has a fixed sill with a seal
38 dB – the door panel is a chipboard panel interrupted with a layer of cork, the door has a fixed sill with a seal

Fire doors in the SOLO fire doorframe or in a sealed steel fire doorframe and Class 2 fire doors in a sealed steel fire doorframe can be supplied in soundproof variants with an air impermeability of 34, 35 and 37 dB. When choosing the metal fittings, it is necessary to reckon with the fact that door thickness may be 44 or 47 mm.
